Our classroom safety training courses are conducted directly at our client's work-site. You will need to provide tables, chairs, pens and WIFI access. Our instructors will bring an overhead projector, laptop and handouts with them. If you have an audio video set up then you will need to provide an HDMI connection to the instructors laptop. All 8 hour courses come with 2 x 15 minutes breaks and a 30 minute lunch break. All 4 hour courses come with 1 x 15 minute break. All of our classroom courses require a minimum of 6 participants per course. ​Discounts will apply for courses with more than 6 participants attending. Contact us for pricing.

Bloodborne pathogens pose a real threat to the health and safety of workers whose occupations require them to work closely with, or exposes them, to body fluids. Our program covers basic information about bloodborne pathogens, comprehensive details regarding exposure and post-exposure control measures, as well as preventive methods that can be used to minimize occupational exposure. This course will teach you what Bloodborne Pathogens are, how to prevent infection from diseases such as HIV and Hepatitis. The training will also inform you on different entry routes of possible infections. Our course will also educate workers on what to do when you come across sharps in the workplace and how to safely dispose of the sharps.

Some of the materials covered during the course will be topics such as risks of coming across used sharps, risks involved with disposal of used sharps, factual knowledge - common communicable diseases, risk identification and assessment, personal protective equipment, preventing risk of exposure to blood-borne pathogens, sharps disposal - safe work procedures and accidental exposure procedures. This 4 hour course will educate workers on what to do when you come across sharps in the workplace and how to safely dispose of the sharps. Some of the materials covered during the course will be topics such as risks of coming across used sharps, risks involved with disposal of used sharps, factual knowledge - common communicable diseases, risk identification and assessment, personal protective equipment, preventing risk of exposure to blood-borne pathogens, sharps disposal - safe work procedures and accidental exposure procedures. Re-certification will be recommended in a period of 2 years.
